HR trends for 2023: historical context
This article retains three themes discussed ahead of 2023 during the pandemic and work transformation. It is not a forecast for the current year or a set of current statistics. The review separates historical data from capabilities now available in GFoundry.
1. Hybrid work and distributed teams
In the Accenture study published in May 2021, 83% of 9,326 workers across eleven countries considered hybrid work optimal. Hybrid meant remote work between 25% and 75% of the time. These findings concern that sample and period rather than everyone’s current preferences.
The theme supports discussion of access, communication and follow-up. GFoundry news, push notifications, learning and OKRs can support distributed teams. Suitable working models depend on roles, conditions and organisational rules.
2. Digital skills and process access
Working with digital tools was an important theme in that context. This article does not present a substantiated “top 10” skills ranking.
Learn organises content and journeys to prepare users. An information area can gather resources and shortcuts rather than automatically integrate every application. Define data and actions for each integration.
3. Wellbeing and working conditions
Information and participation initiatives can support wellbeing programmes but do not replace workload review, working conditions or appropriate support. Publishing content alone does not establish universal returns.
